The Company

In 2008 Thames RIB Experience was formed, the company had 1 boat and 1 trip a tour of the Thames finishing with a high speed blast. Boat booking systems was approached to provide a  highly innovative website and a booking system all to be written from scratch.

Soon after with their success more boats were added with high speed Yanmar engines and their bookings grew substantially causing the system to be enhanced even more

Thames RIB Experience now have 5 RIB boats being the ultimate fleet on the Thames, including sound, PA systems and James Bond style music

The Story

It was obvious that by 2015 with the rapid increase in bookings, trips, boats and staff a new system would be required and again Thames turned to Boat Booking Systems to write it.

After extensive meetings a plan was formed and a totally new interface and structure was developed . After 7  years technology changes very quickly in the software writing business and we was pleased to demonstrate our latest skills in providing up to date code

A host of new features were added to ease the the running of the system for the staff, making it far faster and easier to navigate, highly secure logins and back tracking log files.

Features such as colour coded calendars,1 click for essential menus, agent logins, custom email templates, unavailability, group email sending, rapid customer search and API function for corporate and ticket sellers

One feature that was asked for was a fully comprehensive reports breakdown of almost every situation for directors to analyse trends in the market

All the above and more was fully delivered and the system is full used by over 15 staff taking 20,000 bookings per year
